Pecan Street 5K and POP Pilates!

The Pecan Street Association is pleased to announce some healthy additions/partnerships to our fall 2015 Pecan Street Festival.

At the start of both days (Sat./Sun.; Sept. 26th & 27th), participate in a free “POP Pilates” class with instructor Christine McCown at 11am on the Trinity Stage. Appropriate for all ages and levels, it’s a good way to start your festival day!

Another healthy and educational option is City Running Tours’ “Pecan Street 5K,” starting at 10am both days, at the Red River stage. The tour will explore Pecan Street’s rich cultural history at a slow-jog’s pace. Visit their site to sign up; there is a $20 fee.

Just voted as the Austin Chronicle’s Readers’ Choice for “Best Arts Festival”, as well as Austin.CultureMap’s 10 Best Music Events this month, the Pecan Street Festival continues to be a festival favorite of central Texans and beyond. We hope to see you soon!
